Exams (Suite version)

The Suite-integrated version of Wigmorean Exams — the same question bank, 13 question types, and proctoring as the standalone, plus deep integration with LMS, Admissions, and CRM.

Same core, Suite benefits

The Exams module shares its engine with the standalone Wigmorean Exams plugin. You get the identical:

  • Question bank with 13 question types
  • Exam builder with randomization, time limits, attempts
  • Browser-based proctoring (webcam, screen, tab-switch, lockdown)
  • Auto-grading where it applies; instructor grading where it doesn't
  • Survey mode

See the standalone docs for feature-by-feature detail. This page covers what's Suite-only.

LMS integration

Attach an exam to any LMS lesson — the lesson doesn't complete until the student passes. Exam scores flow into the LMS gradebook automatically and count toward the course grade.

Lesson-level exams can be set as practice (unlimited attempts, ungraded) or assessment (limited attempts, graded).

Admissions integration

Pathways in Admissions can include entrance exams. An applicant completes the exam as part of their application; reviewers see the exam score in the review dashboard alongside other applicant materials.

Cut scores can be configured — applicants below the threshold are auto-rejected; above it, they proceed to human review.

CRM and campaigns

Exam results appear in the contact's activity log in CRM. Segments can filter on exam outcomes ("passed the certification exam"), letting you run targeted campaigns (invite passers to the next level, re-engage fail candidates with practice tests).

Shared question bank

In standalone mode, each site has its own question bank. In Suite mode, you can share question banks across LMS courses, Admissions pathways, and standalone assessments — a single source of truth for your assessment library.

Cannot run alongside standalone

The Suite module and standalone plugin share database tables. Running both causes conflicts. SafeGuard enforces this — install one, not both. Upgrading from standalone to Suite: deactivate standalone, activate Suite module; data carries over.
