Contacts
Every person becomes a Contact. Contacts can be linked to WP Users (logged in) or stay as anonymous records (newsletter signups, form submissions). CRM automatically dedupes on email.
Each contact record stores: core fields (name, email, phone, address), custom fields (unlimited), activity log (every email open, form submission, purchase), tags, pipeline position.
Pipelines
A pipeline is a named sequence of stages: e.g., "Course Enrollment → Lead → Qualified → Applied → Enrolled → Alumni". Each contact sits in one stage per pipeline. Drag contacts between stages or trigger stage changes via automation.
Pipelines are unlimited — run one for admissions, one for course upsells, one for alumni engagement.
Segments
A segment is a saved filter: "all contacts who opened last week's email and haven't enrolled". Build segments with the query builder (AND/OR rules, nested groups). Segments auto-refresh as contacts change — new matches appear instantly.
Email campaigns
Campaigns are one-off blasts: write, schedule, send to a segment. CRM composes the email in a block editor and routes it through GoLive's SMTP module or directly via Brevo (API) for high-volume sends.
Automations
Triggers move contacts and send messages without you clicking anything:
- Form submitted → add to pipeline stage, send welcome email
- Course completed → award badge, move stage, send certificate
- Subscription renewed → thank-you email
- Cart abandoned → reminder email after 24h

Brevo integration
For lists over ~1,000 contacts, CRM offloads delivery to Brevo. One-way sync:
- Segments in CRM → Lists in Brevo
- Contacts added to CRM → Contacts upserted in Brevo
- Opens and clicks flow back from Brevo webhooks → recorded in CRM activity log
Brevo credentials live in the Credentials Vault.
Deduplication
When the same email arrives through multiple sources (form submission + purchase + course enrollment), CRM merges them into one contact record and deduplicates the activity log. Manual merge is available for edge cases.
GDPR / privacy
One-click export of all data held for a contact (WP's standard personal data export). One-click erasure. Consent capture at every entry point (forms, signups).
