LMS integration
Create an index that spans a course or program. Students taking a course see index entries filtered to just that course's content, with deep links into specific lessons. Great for long lecture series where students need to find "the bit where we covered X" in week 8.
Instructor mode: auto-build proposals are scoped per course, and the instructor reviews and approves candidates from the course editor rather than the site-wide admin.
Media integration
When the source material is in the Media module (Bunny Stream video, audio files), Index Engine reads captions directly and generates timecoded entries. Clicking a reference opens the video in Bunny's player at the exact moment.
For collections (video series), the index spans all episodes and links deep into the right one.
Communities integration
Index entries can gate by group membership — members of the "Premium" group see references from gated material; non-members see a teaser. Works cleanly with Commerce subscriptions that grant group membership.
Auto-builder with corpus knowledge
In Suite mode, the auto-builder sees more of your content than the standalone — LMS lessons, Communities discussions, Calendar event descriptions. You can instruct it to index across the whole Suite corpus or restrict to a single module.
Cannot run alongside standalone
Shared database tables. Install one.
