John Henry Wigmore (1863–1943) was an American jurist and evidence scholar who developed a revolutionary method for charting the logical structure of legal proof — the Wigmore Chart. Using Directed Acyclic Graphs, Wigmore made visible what great lawyers had always done instinctively: trace every inference, every evidence chain, every logical step from facts to conclusion.
