Two tabs, two scopes
Once your license is validated, the Suite and Standalone tabs appear. They serve different purposes:
- Suite tab — the 22 modules bundled into the Wigmorean Suite license. Every Suite holder sees all 22.
- Standalone tab — individual plugins you can buy on their own (SMTP, Stripe, Protector, and others). The tab shows only plugins your license covers.
Install a product
Each product appears as a card with an icon, description, and install/activate controls. To install:
- Find the product card
- Click Install
- Connect runs a SafeGuard pre-flight check — it scans for conflicts with plugins you already have
- If the pre-flight is green, Connect downloads and activates the plugin in one step
- If the pre-flight is yellow or red, Connect shows you the conflict and asks you to resolve it first
Activate and deactivate
Every installed product has an on/off toggle. Flipping it off deactivates the plugin without uninstalling — your data stays in place, and you can flip it back on any time. Uninstalling is done the standard WordPress way via Plugins → Installed Plugins.
Auto-update
Each product card includes an Auto-update toggle. When on, Connect updates that product automatically the next time WordPress runs its update cron. When off, you'll see an "Update now" button when a new version is available.
Auto-updates run through Connect's own downloader — not the standard WP updater — so every update gets a SafeGuard pre-flight before it applies.
Suite vs Standalone: same product name
A handful of products ship in both Suite and Standalone form — Exams, Admissions Engine, Index Engine, EasyPost. You only run one at a time. Connect checks for this automatically: if the Suite version is active and you try to install the Standalone version, you'll see a conflict card telling you to deactivate one first.
